Another new week. . . .I was just talking with a friend about how quickly the months are flying by, and here we are into March. I am so thankful too. We've had a harsh winter and I know our family is more than ready for spring to come upon us. We did take full advantage of Thursday and Friday,of last week, and spent most of each day outside. We packed in as many outside activities as we could too, plus an extra bonus was opening up all the windows and letting some fresh air into our home. I hope it killed off any germs that were still lingering because I really don't want to go another round with strep. My poor kids are finally on the mend! PTL!

Also on last Thursday I had my monthly MOPS meeting. Its always an activity I look forward too; we have great fellowship, always a great speaker, a fun craft and an amazing lunch. I was so totally enamoured with God and how awesome He is to give us insights and encouragement. The speaker was a man with his doctorate in Psychology. The very first issue he addressed was exactly what my previous post was about, stepping in or running interference for your children. I sat in awe of how precious God is and how He used this man to confirm what I had felt and shared from my heart (I don't even have a doctorate, but sometimes mom's just know, don't they?). It was such a balm to my heart and soul and I was ever thankful that I chose to stay out of the situation and allow God to work in His own way and timing. Its still tough but it was right.

Thank you to all who made comments, who understand, and who have walked the same journey with your kids. It's always such a blessing to know that you aren't alone in your thoughts, feelings and responses. Isn't that what we are supposed to do anyways? share each others burdens, without judging, and bring our requests before the Lord.

YAY for better weather, and for MOPS!

I enjoyed last week's meeting a lot as well. It's good to know that it's okay to not be at our children's beck and call 24-7...although that's easier said than done.

I'm going to be able to go to BWW's tomorrow, hope to see you there too!
