A beaut of a day to hunt birds. . . . .
We are having trouble with a few species of
birds leaving their deposits in our pool,
on the solar cover, on the pool toys,
and on our swing canopy, so. . . .
the "big boys" got out the pellet guns
and went hunting today!
I must say they had a blast sitting in Scottie's
jeep waiting for the birds to light on our old
TV antenna. They did get a few too.
Don't they look tough?

Daniel had to join in on the fun too, only he chose
to walk around the perimeter of our property
trying to get a hit.
We just had the best Father's day ever spending
most of it out by the pool, in the pool and
waiting to get those blasted birds!
Our new patio set-up
We had such fun outside today, what a
beautiful day for
Father's Day too
Perfect weather, even better
a great family!
we got the stereo, the cooler full of pop
the baby bed and bouncy!

This is our new pool ladder!
Makes our old pool look classy!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY,
Honey,
I love you so very much!
Thank you:
for such an amazing family!
For the selfless love you show to all of us!
For driving hundreds of miles to
see your children graduate
from the military
and college!
For watching ballet recitals, soccer games,
basketball games, karate matches,
cross-country runs, track meets
and choir concerts.
For giving up hours and hours to encourage,
discipline, rock, talk, email, cook, clean,
and work for all of us!
For your listening ear, your soft shoulders
(even though you are buff they are soft!)
to lean and cry on, the never-ending
support you show to me and the kids.
for your great laugh, your willingness to play
(when you are dead tired)
for constantly wanting us to grow in our walk
with God
for your awesome sense of humor
and all
the many wise-cracks you can come up
with at the drop of a hat!
for your willingness to let us see you cry,
to see your tender heart,
and for showing us Christ in all you do!
You are "extra-0rdinary"
we love you more than words can say!
Have a blessed
Father's Day,
the best ever!
May you always know how much we love you
and how very much you mean to us!

Guess what? our little munchkin is pushing and pulling her way into crawling. Can you believe it? Four months old! She was laying on the floor by the computer with Colson and I looking on and, whalah she crawled! Colson was so excited and shouted, "Mom, did you see that? she just crawled!" I was watching her play on the floor last night and caught a glimpse of her trying to crawl but thought "no, she is too young", but sure enough she is doing it all-be-it slowly! Bless her little heart. If she keeps this up she will rank at the top of the Lutz Tribe with her oldest brother, Brad, as he did all the major milestones early.

We we are off to a busy start to our weekend. One of Ben's friends, Zak, had his open house tonight, we have been friends with his family since the boys were in 7th grade basketball. Its amazing how quickly those 6 years flew by. The open house was nice, very busy and we found ourselves at a picnic table outside which was nice. Some kids were running around and one little guy about 3 mosied up to Victorias stroller and tried to touch her all over her little face. I politely told him to not touch her face but he could look. The next thing I knew Colson was standing next to the stroller, like a soldier, guarding his sister. It was so cute and I commended him on what a great job he did of watching out for her and protecting her. He is so cute with her and when she is extremely fussy we sing to her Colson's name and she settles right down. Its the cuttest thing ever. Den and Scottie are off helping a family from church tear off their old shingles and the kids and I are just relaxing. Tomorrow we have a 70th birthday party to attend in Lansing, then back to Flushing for 3 open houses. Sunday we have 3 more. One nice thing about the open houses is that I don't have to cook lunch or dinner for the next 2 days! What a blessing to me!!!!! Oh and for those of you who saw my post about the washer being down for WAY TOO LONG, I now am officially all caught up on all the laundry! I have even stripped and washed all the bedding in the house too! YEAH! That is one piece of machinery that I just "can't" live without! So thankful we have a five-year warranty on the both the washer and dryer. Well I am off to take care of my crying baby. She is all done in for the day. Too many errands in the car today............Have a great weekend. O' and feel free to comment on my posts, I would love to hear from any of you who so choose to read this.
