a new chapter, a new page. . . .

WHEW! its been quite a while since I've blogged.  Lots has happened; my school semester has finally drawn to a close as of yesterday.  As I was holding Victoria, on my lap, last night I shared with her that I was done with classes for the summer.  She looked up at me, with those gorgeous blue eyes, and said "for real?"  She gave me the biggest hug! Then she says, "now we can spend all our time together. . . .can my school be done too?" She then says, "can I tell Colson?"  That completely made my day, it was icing on the cake; a cherry on the whip cream! For the rest of the evening she would look at me and smile and then hug me close!  As much as I've wanted to finish my education I can truly say its unimportant compared to what I've missed with my family.  I have one year left and I am going to work real hard at finding a better balance, because each day my family grows more independent of me; needing me less, standing more on their own two feet.  It is all God has planned, as it should be, but. . . .I just don't want to miss a single second of their lives; of their growth.  So without further ado. . . . I'm headed off to enjoy my freedom and watch my kids grow!
